Chapter 7

School started just a couple days ago and im not liking it at all.  It is just as bad as first grade. Also, I found Jem's pants hung neatly over the fence, along with that, I also found a ball of gray twine and two soap figures carved out as what appears to be Jem and I. I am not sure who is doing this, but I hope they leave more cool stuff!

Chapter 6

Today was a very crazy day! I joined Jem and Dill on sneaking into the Radley Place and peaking through the shutter. Just as we approached it, we saw the shadow of a man and he shot a shotgun near us. We ran really fast out of their property. Jem got his pants caught on the fence and ended up losing them in our escape. It also happened to be Dill's last day in Maycomb.

Chapter 2

Today, Miss Caroline Fisher said I am a great reader!  But, she found out my dad teaches me how to read better.  She got a little mad and says that I should stop reading with him.   I very much like reading and I don't know why she would want me to stop?  Jem said she is just trying a new style of teaching. I don't care, I will keep reading anyway!

Chapter 1

Jem and I made a new friend recently. His name is Charles Baker Harris. He is staying with his aunt Miss Rachel Haverford for the summer. He said to call him dill. We really get along and we are going to try to get Boo Radley to get out of his house! We are gona have a lot of fun!
